Twenty twelve began with a Platinum Record for Ryan Stewart's work on "Shut Up and Dance" by Warner Music Canada Recording Artist Victoria Duffield. "Shut Up and Dance", co-written and produced by Ryan, has been the #1 Canadian song on the Nielsen BDS Top 40 Chart, the #1 Video on Much Music and #1 on the Canadian Billboard Emerging Artist Chart.
Second only to Adele, the newly released EP "Curiosity" by Carly Rae Jepsen debuted at #2 on the iTunes Album Chart. Ryan co-wrote three songs on Carly's EP including the title track "Curiosity" and additionally Produced 5 of the 6 songs. Off the strength of Ryan's co-write and production of "Loving You Tonight" for Andrew Allen, the Canadian recording and performing Artist was signed to Epic Records US. "Loving You Tonight" went Top 30 at HOT AC in the US and was in the Top 10 at AC in Canada for 20 weeks.
Ryan won "Songwriter Of The Year" at the Canadian Radio Music Awards, received 4 Canadian Grammy Nominations (Junos) including the prestigious "Songwriter of the Year" and has been the recipient of many additional Awards and Nominations for his chart topping songs. Ryan's songs have received over 100 000 spins at Canadian and US radio.
